Why do we do baptisms?
As a church that follows Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we obey Him by baptizing people as commanded in Matthew 28:18-20 and encouraging people who have trusted in Jesus to get baptized.
What is Baptism?
Baptism is an outward demonstration of our new identity in Christ, as people who have been united with Christ (Romans 6:1-4) and with His people (Galatians 3:27-28, Ephesians 4:4-6). It is also an inward reminder for our endurance (1 Peter 3:21).
